Pyramids & Cairo Museum

Your guide will be waiting for you after breakfast to introduce you to the wonders hidden in the bustling capital of Egypt.

Your day will start in Giza where you visit the the statue of the Sphinx, the pyramids of Chefren and Menkaure, and the inner chambers of Cheops – one of Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.

After lunch, you will find yourself in Downtown Cairo where the Egyptian Museum is located to admire the world's largest collection of pharaonic artifacts. Its vast rooms contain the famous treasures of child king Tutankhamen and royal mummies.

You will end your day to your own liking - choose one of our exciting optional tours and experience Cairo by night or spend your evening relaxing at the hotel.

Nile Cruise – Luxor East Bank

Our representative will meet you on arrival at Luxor Airport, help you with check-in on your chosen cruise boat and provide with necessary information to begin your trip.

You will start your journey on the East Bank of Luxor with a visit to the world-renowned Karnak Temple dedicated to the most cherished of deities – Amun Ra, and the magnificent Southern Sanctuary.

Day 4

Nile Cruise – Luxor West Bank

Early in the morning you will explore the heart of the Theban Necropolis on the West Bank of Luxor.

Pharaonic tombs, mortuary temples and colossal statues spread across the vast Valley of the Kings date back to the New Kingdom and include the famous Tutankhamen’s tomb. No less splendid is the mortuary built beneath the cliffs of Deir el Bahri for Queen Hatshepsut, the most powerful woman to ever rule Egypt.

Your last stop for the day will be the Colossi of Memnon. Legend has it that the two towering stone statues still protect the Theban Necropolis.

For the rest of the day you will be relaxing aboard your cruise boat, admiring the beautiful landscape along the Nile.

Nile Cruise - Edfu & Kom Ombo Temples

On arrival in Edfu, a carriage will be waiting to take you to one of the best preserved temples in Egypt – the Edfu Temple, dedicated to the falcon god, Horus.

Your cruise boat will then sail upstream to reach Kom Ombo by late afternoon. You will end your day with a visit to the Kom Ombo Temple, built unconventionally in worship of both the crocodile god of fertility - Sobek, and Haroeris, the falcon god of light.

Nile Cruise – Aswan

The city of Aswan will welcome you with its mysterious atmosphere that inspired Agatha Christie's novel, and an invitation to explore the city's rich history.

Your day starts with a love story of goddess Isis who spent her days on the Island of Philae protecting the heart of her beloved Osiris.

The story of the the Temple of Isis will take you back to the modern-day Aswan and the controversies surrounding the Hight Dam. Built in the 70s, this impressive construction forever changed the course of life along the Nile.

After lunch, a traditional Egyptian boat, know locally as felucca, will take you on a trip around the Elephantine Island and its Nubian villages – the remainder of one of the earliest civilizations of ancient Africa.

The day will end with a cup of Egyptian tea in hand, watching the sunset from the terrace of the Old Cataract Hotel where Agatha Christie wrote her famous novel “Murder on the Nile”.

Your Day in Aswan

You can spend the morning at your leisure visiting the place of worship of Ramasses the Great in Abu Simbel. The two monumental temples are not only awe-inspiring. They were removed and reassembled during the construction of the High Dam – a feat that attests to the country's dedication to preserve of its cultural heritage.

You can opt for a motor-boat trip to a Nubian Village in Gharib Soheil on the West Bank of Aswan. This colourful hamlet will welcome you with its laid-back atmosphere, the scent of spices in the air, and the larger-than-life smiles on the faces of Nubian children you will meet on your walk through the village. For a full cultural experience, you will also visit a Nubian family and a local school.

According to your flight schedule, you will be transferred to Aswan Airport for your flight to Cairo.
