Dolmabahce Palace was designed by Ottoman Armenian architects Karabet and Nikogos Balian for Sultan Abdulmecit in 1856. It's the grandest of Ottoman imperial palaces with 285 rooms, 43 large salons, a 4000 kg Bohemian glass chandelier, and a Bosporus-shore façade nearly a quarter mile long. 4.500 square meters area covered by the carpets. It is said that 40 tons of silver and 14 tons of gold were used for the decoration of the palace Dolmabahce palace has a great meaning for Turkish people since the supreme leader Mustafa Kemal Ataturk had used the palace as a residence and spent the most serious period of his illness and he passed away in this palace on 10 th of November 1938 at 9:05 AM, all the clocks in the palace are stopped at this time.

After spending few hours at the palace, we drive to Asian side by crossing over Bosphorus Bridge connecting Europe (left) and Asia (right). It is gravity anchored suspension bridge with steel pylons and inclined hangers. The Bosphorus Bridge had the 4th longest suspension bridge span in the world when it was completed in 1973, and the longest outside the United States. At present, it is the 17th longest suspension bridge span in the world. Enjoy the view on our way !

We arrive to Camlica Hill on the Asian shores of the Bosphorus, there lies a high pine covered bill, atop which sits a restaurant. From here you can inhale the fresh Black Sea air, and possibly obtain the best views of the sprawling metropolis of Istanbul.

We return back to European side and drop you at your hotel .
